InterOscitorTM Tech Support

Need some help with your InterOscitorTM?  Here are some resources to get things working again.

First we suggest you review our list of Frequently Asked Questions to see if the answer to your question is already there.

The next step is to take a look at the InterOscitorTM User Manual for general information on how to set up and use your InterOscitorTM.

If you're still having trouble after reviewing the above resources then you can send us an email describing the problem.  Include a complete description of your PC (for example, Pentium II, 450MHz, 32MB RAM, 10G hard disk, Intel Pro Video camera, Creative Soundblaster sound card, CD-ROM, 56K modem, Millenium Matrox video card) and a detailed description of the problem including the circumstances under which it occurs.  Our email address is support@interoscitor.com.

Users of WinNT/2000/XP please note the following: To get the InterOscitor to work on your computer go to the directory:

   C:\Program Files\Peterson Enterprises

and delete the file Avicap32.dll.  This will get rid of the error when the InterOscitor starts up.  There is a more recent version of this file already included as part of your operating system.  Note also that the InterOscitor will only work with Video For Windows (VFW) drivers.  If your webcam doesn't have VFW drivers there is a WDM driver wrapper you can use that will convert the drivers to VFW.  This is slower than direct access but it will get you going.  The vfwwdm32 driver wrapper is part of the operating system and should already be there if you are up to date on service packs.  This link may help in getting it to work.
